High court petitioned to help against discrimination
Discrimination between persons who are entitled to hold an Israeli passport but have not lived here in many years, and longstanding residents.
Advs. Renato Jarach, Ohad Jarach, Eitan Tzafrir and Danielle Talmon, together with the Legal Aid Center for New Immigrants, petition the High Court of Justice against the Ministry of Interior:
“The discriminatory passport renewal procedure materially violates the equality principle and human rights, including the right to dignity and freedom of movement.”
