Winning at the District Court: Administrative Law Dept. Achievement
M. Firon client, Barel A.B. Engineering & Construction Group, won a tender to build hundreds of housing units in the Galilee.
One of the losing bidders filed a petition to Court requesting disqualification of Barel Group’s winning, however the District Court has accepted all the claims of Advs. Naama Zer-Kavod and Lidor Shloosh from our Administrative Law, Tenders and Regulation Dept., who represented Barel Group.
Among other claims, The District Court in Nazareth accepted the following claims:
- The committee’s discretion should not be interfered;
- This is not an unusual decision;
- The fact that the petitioner was on a private vacation is not a reason to cancel our clients’ winning the tender.
