Executives from the giant tech companies are currently testifying to the US Congress Judicial Committee on their anti-competitive behaviour.
In an interview with Walla News, Adv. Mazor Matzkevitch, head of our firm’s Competition, Anti-Trust and Regulatory Affairs Department,
expressed her doubt as to whether it would be possible to deal with these giant corporations by way of anti-trust legislation: “Despite having endless
resources it seems that the US and European authorities (as well as Israel) cannot find an appropriate remedy in competition legislation, for what is really concerning them. Just as with technology, it seems that the giant companies have simply left everything – including the world’s anti-trust laws – in their wake.”
