In an out-of-the-ordinary ruling, the claimant in a class action against 5 food chains was required to pay NIS.100,000 as a condition for continuing with the claim
In its highly unusual decision, the court ruled, in view of the amount claimed, the claimant’s prospects and financial condition, that the action against several food chains, including Rami Levy and Tiv Taam, could only be continued upon the deposit of the aforementioned amount. The Rami Levy and Tiv Taam chains were represented by Advs. Ronit Sutton Zalkind and Mayan Ziv Glantz.
