Clalit Engineering Medical Ltd. dismissed an employee after he posted statuses on WhatsApp with verses from the Quran, a few days after October 7th. The employee argued that he regularly shares religious texts and that there was no incitement involved, but the company claimed that the verses encouraged terrorist actions against Israel. The employee appealed to the labor court to overturn his dismissal, but his request was denied.
