Adv. Ofir Shomrat is a partner in the Financial Cluster of the Commercial Department of the firm.
Ofir deals with the areas of activity of the cluster, and specializes in the representation of fund managers of joint investment trust funds, including their accompaniment in their ongoing activities in the management of the funds – from the establishment stage, through the formation of the appropriate legal structure to their ongoing management, while ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting the requirements of the law.

Ofir combines a deep understanding of the financial field with extensive legal knowledge in a way that enables navigation through relevant laws and regulations and leading complex processes regarding the funds, such as determining their investment policies, determining and changing their internal arrangements, mergers and dissolutions, all in accordance with the client’s needs and the changing conditions in the capital market.
Thanks to his rich experience and the combination of creative legal thinking with a practical approach, Ofir assists in leading clients in a challenging and complex regulatory environment, in defining the corporate governance that suits them and in long-term strategic planning, alongside strict safeguarding of the interests of unit owners, transparency and due disclosure, reliability and proper risk management.
In this framework, Ofir even serves as the head of the professional field in the cluster, and represents leading investment houses in Israel and the Association of Trust Investments Fund Managers (a registered association).
Before joining the firm in 2012, Ofir finished an internship in a leading tort law firm (2011-2012).
