Ravit Koren-Perry

Ravit Koren-Perry is a partner at M. Firon & Co., working in the field of commercial litigation and specializing in handling class actions of all types. Ravit is experienced in the management of all stages of complex disputes in the District Courts and the Supreme Court.

Ravit has particular expertise in representing respondents in class actions over a wide range of issues, including consumer affairs, equal rights, and securities. Ravit also has special expertise in all matters relating to all aspects and implications of the insurance sector, both class actions and in administrative proceedings.

Ravit’s clients include some of the country’s largest insurance companies, retailers and airlines from every part of the Israeli economy including government companies.

By virtue of her experience in the insurance sector, Ravit has acquired particular expertise in representing insurance companies in complex class actions relating to nursing assistance and health care, including handling claims relating to equal rights for people with disabilities. She also represents insurance companies in car insurance class actions (property and compulsory) and at review hearings before the Commissioner of the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority at the Ministry of Finance as well as at the Supreme Court and the Courts for Administrative Affairs. Ravit has provided representation in class actions relating to all aspects of securities as well as large retail companies (including government companies) in various class actions relating to all aspects of consumer affairs, including equal rights for people with disabilities.

From 2011 (when she was admitted as a lawyer) to 2014, Ravit served as a teaching assistant on the civil procedure course given by Prof. Alon Klement and the Honorable District Court Judge Rami Amir. In addition, she served as Deputy Director of Prof. Alon Klement’s Class Actions Clinic (2012) and as a teaching assistant in a constitutional law course of Prof. Yoram Rabin (2010-2011). All these courses were held at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center. In addition, Ravit volunteered with the Perach organization, where she was a Project Manager (2007-2009). Throughout her studies, Ravit was recognized on the Dean’s list and completed her studies in first place on her study track.

Ravit joined the firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2020.
