Ron Genat is a partner in the firm’s commercial law Dept., and Head of Aviation Practice
Mr. Genat is experienced in representing major companies and figures in the market in all aspects of their operations. In recent years, Mr. Genat has served as in-house legal counsel for one of the largest and most prominent defense contractors in Israel. His practice encompasses all of his clientele’s commercial operations, from employee management, to drafting commercial agreements and handling companies’ assets, and all the way through representing them before various governmental authorities and regulatory bodies. His fields of expertise include, among others, commercial law, real estate law, construction law, infrastructures law, financing, labor law, securities law, and corporate law. In addition to his regular commercial practice, Mr. Genat is one of the leading and best known attorneys in Israel in the field of aviation law and for more than a decade, has served as legal counsel to the Israel Airline Pilots Association. His civil aviation law practice includes handling ongoing as well as strategic matters, from representing pilots before relevant authorities or their employers all the way through being active in the Israel Knesset and contacts with regulators, including in relation to shaping current legislation in the field as well as establishing regulatory procedures. Mr. Genat takes particular pride in, among other things, his contribution to drafting the Aviation Law (2011), Israel’s main legislation regulating the activities of aircraft operators.
