Advocates Jacob Enoch and Lihi Bachar wrote the chapter on smart contracts in a new book which was published recently
Adv. Jacob Enoch, Head of the M&A Dept. at M. Firon & Co., together with M. Firon’s Adv. Lihi Bachar, wrote the chapter on smart contracts in the book “Emerging Technologies: Challenges for Israeli Law”.
The chapter addresses the pretentious vision of independently self-executing contracts, contexts in which reality cannot live up to such vision, ideas for normative recognition of the effect of smart contracts as well as potential holistic legislation paths for the regulation of the use of smart contracts.
The book, published recently by Nevo, and edited by Prof. Lior Zemer, Prof. Dov Greenbaum and Dr. Aviv Gaon, includes 19 chapters and analyzes the legal implications of various emerging technologies.
A book launch event was held on December 5, 2022, at Reichmann University together with the authors and senior members of academe and the legal sector. Congratulations!
